I love real estate and I think I have the most amazing clients out there. It may be because I’m biased. Or it may be because I have built my business over the last few years by referral and that means good people keep referring good people! A self professed over-communicator at times, I enjoy meeting new people and assuring that all client needs are being met through clear and concise communication… with a little bit of humor thrown in for good measure. I have had a great journey so far in life and have relocated several times as a result. I understand the needs and stresses that come with buying and selling homes during transitional times in your life. Currently living in West Des Moines, I represent buyers and sellers in the greater DM Metro with a builder in Ankeny (www.kandkhomesinc.com) and also lived in Beaverdale for many years. I am a UNI graduate (go Panthers!) originally from Reinbeck, Iowa and definitely a Midwest girl at heart. Matter of fact, I moved back to the Midwest several years ago to be closer to my amazing family, that continues to multiply. My life before real estate included 15 years experience in client relations & marketing, representing international brands such as Nike, BMW, Land Rover, The US Olympic Torch Relay and Red Bull Energy Drink. In my leisure time I love travel, wine, laughter, and volunteering through Lutheran Church of Hope & Jr. League in the community of Des Moines. I’ve also been known to skydive, snowmobile, paraglide and dirt bike… but only when the situation warrants it. :-) Supporting various organizations that represent causes that have touched my life in various ways is very important to me as well, those include: Jonathan’s House for Orphans in the Central African Republic, Lutheran Church of Hope, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Leukemia Lymphoma Society’s Marathon & 1/2 Marathon Team in Training, MS Society, National Down Syndrome Society, Race for the Cure, and Mission Jamaica Robin’s Nest Orphanage.
